Missed me, missed me, now youve got to kiss me~ Sweet as sugar, the lilting voice called from across the grass, a childish giggle accompanying it. The girl slowly, one delicate step at a time, approached him, until she stood barely inches from him, her face nearly touching his. She tilted her head at him, smiling innocently. Well~? You missed me, da~.
He could feel her breath against his skin; it too was sweet, to match her voice. It reminded him of honey and sugar, and the smell was starting to make him feel sick. Her shiny, dark lavender eyes bore into his own, the picture of classic childish innocence. He smi
It was a hideously perfect day. Skies of blue, cute, fluffy white clouds scattered across it in just the right places, enough to hide a little sun and cool it all down, but not enough to ruin the effect of the sky. He shuffled out onto his porch, stretching and yawning, breathing in the smell of the bright, summer day. Ahh, I couldnt ask for a nicer day for my birthday!
Alfred grinned at the empty, green lawn in front of him and turned to head back into his house, to go find some breakfast, before a flash of white caught his eye. He glanced back, towards the hanging, bronze mailbox on the side of his house, a white envelope
The year was 1901, but he remembered it like it was yesterday. The date, scribbled across the top of the paper in that familiar, chicken scratch hand writing, would be forever stamped in his mind. There was no way he would ever let himself forget that day, the day his house emptied at last.
He had grown so used to having them around, so used to never being alone, always having someone at his side when he needed them. But now, as of 1901, that was no more.
Now he was alone. The Spanish Empire was no more. His children, one by one, turned away from him, seeking their freedom in any way possible.
At first, though resisting, though trying to k

He was trying to drown his troubles. He knew, deep down, that it would do no good, but still. It was worth a try. Alcohol had a certain healing quality to it. It couldnt make the pain go away, but oh, hell, it could sure numb it.
And hed settle for that for now. Hed settle for about anything now.
Anything was better than....than this, whatever the hell that was. He didn't even know. He couldn't explain it, not even to himself. It was just an ache, deep down in his chest.
But he couldn't bring himself to put it quite like that. Heartache?
Hah. As if.
Ah. So there he was, sitting at the bar, pressing his face into hi
It was Tuesday in the aquarium where my mother was wandering about like wild wilder-beast on a hot summer night. Somewhere in this vicinity lie thirty explosive car loving maniacs that were about to implode on top of a monkey. Rutabaga may have the key to solving someones otherworldly diabolical schemes. So once the maniacs were done with their high, the explosive materials exploded. BOOM ! went the explosives. Just then the dolphins arrived with guns blazing rainbows made from watermelons and puppies. The puppies had mysterious star sparkles that if you touched them they would DETONATE INTO A BABY goose. Lisa Frank owned the fields tha
He crouches low
Beside his troops
Gaze intense
Locked upon the horizon
The heat blurring his view
Turning the oncoming onslaught
Into a blur of terror.

The skin glistens in the sun
A mixture of sweat

Her childhood is lost. The innocence of days spent running through the grass, the time spent picking flowers with the pollen tickling her nose, it is lost. Lost, and gone to a place too far to be found. Buried under all of this debris.
She stares. Remembering. Memories. The news, turned on every night, promptly at six. She would always turn away from the screen, turning to her dolls and toys, blocking out what they were saying. She was young - yes. But stupid - no. She knew what they meant, if only the basics.
"Today, America entered the war, making this a near promise to be World War III. The president stated early this morning that nuclea

He slipped his hand into his pocket, seeking his fix. His hand met glass and he fingered the neck of the mini-bottle. For a moment he considered just leaving it there, but the thought passed and he pulled it out.
It was just a mini-bottle, about the amount in a shot glass, full of vodka. He was just about to open it when he heard the door click open behind him. He quickly dropped the bottle back into his pocket. Oh well, he thought, probably wasnt the smartest idea to show up to his first AA meeting drunk.

Kisame, where is the place you hold most precious to you?
The shark nin glanced up from his book and towards the black haired man who was seated next to him, his head resting on Kisames shoulder. Hm I suppose it would be
No. I dont want to hear it, I want to see it. Itachi closed his eyes and sighed at the ceiling. While I still can. Kisame said nothing, just nodded and gave his partner a sympathetic look. He slipped his bookmark into his book and wrapped his arms around the Uchiha.
It had been nearly a year since Itachi had been diagnosed with some rare, un-curable d

Tsunade turned to Sasuke with a sigh. Hey, kid, can you take him down the hall, to the front desk? Shizune should still be stationed there, shell find a place for this kid to lay down and call his parents.
Sasuke groaned, but nodded and helped the blonde to his feet. Cmon, Blondie, lets go. The other boy seemed to have lost the will to move, and slumped onto Sasuke's shoulder mumbling incoherent things into Sasukes shirt. I said lets go, Blondie, Sasuke growled, giving Naruto a slight shake.
Naruto lifted his head and stared at Sasuke for a moment, then put it back down.
The bell tolled twelve a final time, and the blue gowned girl slipped in through the door just as her clothes became soot covered rags again. She sighed quietly and sat in her small chair near the fireplace. She stared into the dying flames, watching the cinders flicker and burn.
The small, black-blue haired girl moved her hand to her pocket and felt a small something there. She pulled it out, turning the tiny glass slipper over in her hands. So it wasnt all just a dream, she mused.
Suddenly, she got the sensation someone was watching her. She glanced up, and standing before her was her stepmother. Where did you get
